California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress Notification

The California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress, or CAASPP, which
has replaced the Standardized Testing and Reporting, or STAR Program, is the new state
academic testing program. CAASPP is a system intended to provide information that can
be used to monitor student progress and ensure that all students leave high school ready
for college and career. This year, CAASPP includes computer adaptive tests
language arts and mathematics as well as paper-based tests for science.

- Bingo Night is coming up on Friday, May 1st, from 6:30-8:30 PM in the Twelve Bridges Middle School Multi.  Please join us for food, good friends, and bingo fun!  Many live and silent auction items are available along with bingo prizes.  Class auction baskets are being put together.  If you can contribute something to your class basket (or have other items, goods, or services you’d like to donate), please contact your student’s teacher or Joanie Cubias at joaniecubias@yahoo.com.  Click here for bingo card pre-orders and to see the bingo flyer.  We hope you can join us for this fun school community fundraising event!

- Parent Input Forms: We are beginning to accept "Parent Input Forms" for student placement for the 15-16 school year.  The input form only asks you to specify learning/teaching styles and environments that are most conducive for your student(s); it is NOT an opportunity to request specific teachers.  We use these forms along with recommendations from your child's current teacher to determine the best placement for your student next year.  Completion of the form is in no way mandatory, just an option for you.  The form here is due back to us no later than Friday, May 9th.

- Tiger Tracks Running Club is back in action.  If you and/or your student are interested in getting fit, we invite you to join us.  The Athlete Information Form is here.  All students must have a form on file to be able to participate.  Last year’s forms are no longer valid.

- Tiger Tales:  Our latest edition of Tiger Tales is in!  Please click here for a glance at where we've been and where we are headed!

- Measure A Info: Measure A, the general obligation bond to raise $60 million towards renovations to LHS and the construction of Twelve Bridges High School, has passed!!  Click here to be directed to the district website which provides more information!
