Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten registration packets will be available for pick-up on March 4, 2013 after 8:30am. Packets must be picked up and dropped off at the student's home school.
**Proof of Residency dated February or March 2013 is REQUIRED to pick up a packet!**
There is a CHANGE regarding enrollment age for the 2013/2014 school year. A child must turn 5 on or before October 1, 2013 to be eligible to enroll in kindergarten.
If your child doesn't meet the age requirement, then consider Transitional Kindergarten! Transitional Kindergarten (TK) is a program that will be offered again next year in WPUSD, which will be hosted in the morning at Twelve Bridges. Depending on enrollment, another TK class may be opened at another school site for the 2013/2014 school year.
The TK program is designed to serve students who have their fifth birthday on or between October 2 to December 2, 2013. If you child does not meet this set date range, consider preschool, which WPUSD offers as well.
